PRIVACY POLICY.
1. What we collect
- Documents you import. Stored so we can serve them back to you and your agents. They are the product, not a byproduct.
- Account and billing details. Payment is handled by Stripe. BaseMouse never sees your card number.
- Usage records. API calls, quotas, and key activity, kept for billing, limits, and the audit trail the product promises.
- Operational telemetry. Event types and document identifiers only. Telemetry never includes document bodies.
2. How we use it
To run the service: storing and serving your documents, enforcing quotas, billing, preventing abuse, and keeping the append-only history that lets you audit what your agents were told. We do not use your documents to train models, and we do not sell your data.
3. Who else sees it
Stripe processes payments. Our hosting providers store the service's data. Placeholder: the finalized policy will list processors and the legal bases involved. We do not share your documents with anyone else.
4. Retention and deletion
Placeholder: how long data is kept after you delete documents or close your account, and how deletion interacts with the append-only history. Final wording pending legal review.
5. Self-hosting
If you run the MIT-licensed core on your own servers, your documents never reach us. The self-hosted core has no license key and does not phone home.
6. Your rights
Placeholder: access, correction, export, and deletion requests, and the regional rights that apply to you. Until then, email us and we will help directly.
